2) The book was written by Alistair Maclean and is also a thriller novel published in 1959.

An airliner crashed on the polar ice-cap, fortunately they were survivors even if that icy winds can freeze a person inmediately.

Those survivors are even more lucky because there were three scientists who founded them and rescued them. The reasons of the crash were unknown and that was what a mission even against all the adversities (NO CONTACT, HUNGRY, COLD) for the scientists in proof of help.

3) What I have to say about this book is that you will like it depending on your likes, because if you like those  romantic, ethical or social books, go and find something else that is not for you; but if you are one of those who like science fiction or about investigate and love the intrigue ->THIS IS THE ONE FOR YOU! 

 I really liked this book because I was so into it, always waiting for what will happen and expecting a great end.

Also because it was about people trying to help another ones, and that is for a common benefit, what i like the most was definitely fight for the truth and the best for everybody.

4)Chapter 9

ü  In this chapter keeps on to create gobs confussion.

ü  Many of these facts made the doctor get nervous

ü   the doctor acts with little caution when someone pushes Helene. When he act in this form  he makes the situation even worse as he thinks that Soly Levin and Zagero are the murderers and have the pistol that had been stolen.

In chapter 10 we can discover a lot of things (the murderer )

ü  Corazzini and the reverend Smallwood

ü  The fire on the plane,

ü  the hit on the doctors head...

 But difficult situations haven't ended as the murderers have left the group in the middle of the Artic Pole and Mrs Dangsby Gregg has died

ü  in an attempt to safe her maid Helene Mrs Dangsby Gregg dies

In chapter 11

ü  everyone are delivery  though the senator had died

ü  They prepare a gamble to try to rescue Margaret and Levin without putting their life’s into risk.

ü  Samllwood  know that jackstraw shoot corazzini and he makes it possible(They know that this could be seen as a murder but Jackstraw and the doctor think that it is live-save and see no problem on killing them to save the others)

In chapter 12

ü  In the finally of the story everybody get delivery .

ü  Corazzini and smallwood are killed by others
